Tenthredo brevicornis
General description:
One of the Tenthredo sawflies which is often found on flower rich grassland, especially where umbellifers are present.
Diagnostic description:
A fairly large yellow and black sawfly similar to several other related species. Males of Tenthredo arcuata, brevicornis, notha and schaefferi cannot be reliably separated.
